Student tasks

Instructions

Attendance at the lectures gives the possibility to obtain 3 of the free credits ETCS recognized by the study plans.
To acquire the credits, students are required to attend exclusively in presence at least 80% of the lectures,
and complete two tasks along the cycle of conferences.

GROUP TASK

Just once

For every lecture, starting from March 23rd, one group will be designated as discussant.

For your assigned lecture, the members of the group will be expected to carefully study the preliminary readings before the lecture, and prepare some questions (at least five). The readings for each guest will be indicated in the details on the website, in the page of each lecture, at least one week before the meeting. Students are free to supplement mandatory readings with others of their own choice.

INDIVIDUAL TASKS

Weekly Task

After each lecture, students will be asked to reflect on the content, the discussion and its relation to the theme of loving and hating Architecture by writing a brief comment (100 words circa) on the ACC Lectures Blog. Please post using your name/student number.

Students have 7 days to write their brief contribution. Comments will be checked week by week.

Final Task

At the end of the cycle of seminars, students will develop a final reflection in the form of an essay , considering their personal diary on the Blog in relation to the theme of the series of lectures.
The final essay must have a title and include an abstract, a bibliography and, if relevant to the discourse developed in the report, up to 5 images. Its length cannot be less than 1000 words and not more than 1500 words (abstract and bibliography are not included in the word count).
