Bio
Michele F. Barale, journalist, graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin, with a master thesis on “The Hospital of Capuchins on Sant. Ana’s hill in Lisbon. New spaces for the ancient city”, developed with Forma Urbis Lab at FAUL (supervisors: Silvia Malcovati, Sérgio Barreiros Proença). He is editor of the online Journal “In_bo. Ricerche e progetti per il territorio, la città e l’architettura”.
His research interests focus on the relation between the Property law and the architectural construction in the European cities, and particularly on the role of easements in the urban building process.
Along with his research, he works as journalist and assistant editor for a local newspaper and specialised magazines.
